Girl behind the camera

I haven’t posted portraits of myself in a minute, so I hope you enjoy these ones as much as I enjoyed myself being one with the vines. LOL.

I used to LOVE being in front of the camera. Taking selfies every day of my life… like all jokes aside. I was pretty obsessed. Not just selfies, but I took real self-portraits with my good ol’ self timer and tripod. I’m not sure if it’s the adulting or just life taking up my time doing actual important and necessary shit, but I totally grew out of that. That being said, I feel quite awkward having my photos taken. I’ve gotten so used to me being behind the camera– which is quite interesting to think about.ย The tables have turned indeed.

However, I’m actually stoked to get back on myย selfie-queenself, not gon’ lie. I want to have more portraits taken;ย and be in front of the camera as much as I am behind it. I just kind of realized that for the “blogger” that I am, I don’t have as many photos of myself as most bloggers do. I always have visions of portraits that I want but no one to take them for me. So this post will actually showcase photos taken by the boyfriend. I’m training him to become an Instagram boyfriend… lol jk. But definitely my personal photographer, yknow. So can we just appreciate the bomb ass photos he took of me? He follows instructions so well– with a little help in composition, cause that’s probably one of the hardest in photography. It really takes an eye– but with enough practice and inspiration, composition will be natural and that’s exactly where I want Elcar to be, lol.

Now I’ll let the photos do the talking!

Oh and by the way, if you aren’t obsessed with the preset I used in these photos then you’re probably an unimpressive human being. I feel like I’ve finally come up with a flattering preset that works well with very warm and green tones. K bye.ย

Oh and I got a tattoo almost 2 months ago by the way, haha! If you want me to write a blog about my experience, let me know and comment below ๐Ÿ™‚
